John J. Abbene
received a B.A., with high distinction from the University
of Virginia in 1976, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa,
and a J.D. from that school in 1979. Mr. Abbene is admitted
to the Bars of the District of Columbia and Virginia, in
addition to California. Mr. Abbene practices in the areas
of corporations and business law, employee benefit and retirement
plans, including 401(k) plans, real estate, and taxation. Mr. Abbene is a member of the State Bar of California
section on taxation. He is also a member of the Western
Pension and Benefits Conference.

Meredith G. Alcock received a B.A. cum laude from Yale University in 1980 and a J.D. magna cum laude in 1986 from the University of San Diego. Ms. Alcock is a member of the State Bar of California, estate planning, trust and probate section. Ms. Alcock has been designated by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Specialist in the practice area of Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. She is listed in the Best Lawyers in America referral guide and has been named as the San Diego Best Lawyers Litigation - Trusts & Estate Lawyer of the Year for 2012. Her practice includes estate planning and settlement, and trust and probate litigation matters.

Andrew
J. Liska graduated from the University of California at San Diego in 1981. He received his J.D. from the University of San Diego, cum laude, in 1987 where he was the recipient of National Order Barristers Award, American Jurisprudence Award for Contracts and the Randolph Read Law and Psychiatry Award. Mr. Liska was admitted to the California State Bar in 1987 along with the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central, Northern and Eastern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Mr. Liska has been a Judge, Pro Tem with the San Diego Superior Court since 1993, and is an Arbitrator for the Fee Arbitration Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the San Diego County Bar Association and San Diego Rotary Club 33. Mr. Liska has also been a guest lecturer at the University of San Diego School of Law. Mr. Liska practices in the areas of civil business litigation, corporate and partnership litigation rights and collections, landlord tenant, bankruptcy, probate litigation, and construction law. He holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
